The goal of the Autodesk Open Translation Project on Autodesk Labs project was to provide a launching pad for "The Autodesk Open Translation Project" and to work closely with a community of volunteer students, educators, and freelance translators who believe in the culture of participation and the power that Open Learning resources can bring to the world at large. We called on all volunteers to help us translate our videos into the world's languages!
Autodesk takes great pride in offering high-quality learning content for free in support of lifelong learning, to supplement classroom materials, and as contributions to the development of digital communities of practice. Our commitment to Open Learning began two years ago when we released our learning resources under Creative Commons licensing. Why? Because we believe that knowledge should be open and shared widely around the world.
The Autodesk Open Translation project on Autodesk Labs has ended. Thanks to everyone who participated. You can still contribute to this translation program by signing in directly on the Amara community platform. Autodesk invites you to share your knowledge with the rest of the world, inspiring others to learn, achieve goals, and ignite creativity via our Creative Commons initiative.
Translation is alive in the lab.
