LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. Think of it as green building leadership. LEED is transforming the way we think about how buildings and communities are designed, constructed, maintained and operated across the globe. LEED certified buildings save money and resources and have a positive impact on the health of occupants, while promoting renewable, clean energy. It's a win-win-win for building owners, occupants, and society.
The technology preview of the Revit Credit Manager for LEED allows Revit users to automate calculations as well as streamline their submittals conveniently from inside Revit for the following LEED 2009 credits:
- Daylighting (IEQ 8.1) [both Option 1 (Simulation) and Option 2 (Prescriptive)]
- Views (IE Q8.2)
- Water Use Reduction (WEp1, WEC3 for LEED NC or WEC2 in LEED CI)
- Recycled Content (MRc4)
The team has decided to extend the technology preview to February 25, 2016. A new build that extends the technology preview has been posted to the site. So newcomers have a short time to get in on the action and existing project participants can get the new build to extend their evaluations:
To project participants old and new, we look forward to your continued feedback on this technology. Autodesk has limited resources. We need affirmation regarding your desire to manage LEED credits. Otherwise, we will turn our attention to some other technology. In this regard, your feedback is key, since your experience shapes the future of our technology.
Extended time is alive in the lab.
