LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED is transforming the way we think about how buildings and communities are designed, constructed, maintained, and operated across the globe. LEED certified buildings save money and resources and have a positive impact on the health of occupants while promoting renewable, clean energy. It's a win-win-win for building owners, occupants, and society.
The Revit Credit Manager for LEED allows Revit users to automate calculations as well as streamline their submittals conveniently from inside Revit for the following LEED 2009 credits:
- Daylighting (IEQ 8.1) [both Option 1 (Simulation) and Option 2 (Prescriptive)]
- Views (IE Q8.2)
- Water Use Reduction (WEp1, WEC3 for LEED NC or WEC2 in LEED CI)
- Recycled Content (MRc4)
I previously blogged that the team decided to extend the technology preview to January 31, 2016 — the end of the Autodesk fiscal year. This week, I posted a new build that actually extends the technology preview. So you have plenty of time to get in on the action:
To project participants old and new, we look forward to your continued feedback on this technology. You can post to the forum on the project or email us at [email protected].
LEED is alive in the lab.
