Some technology previews are big with lots of participants. Others are small. Project Rosenfeld is an iPad application that lets you create energy analyses from photos, as well as conduct on-site audits and financial analyses. The Apple iTunes store is only for finished applications. Since Project Rosenfeld is a technology preview, we are deploying it through a separate Beta platform called Hockey, which offers a limited number of development accounts, so we are keeping Project Rosenfeld small. The group of project participants is an elite set of people who can put the technology preview through its paces and significantly influence the future of the technology.
We are looking for a few good participants to join the project. If you believe you can break or bless energy analyses created from photographs taken on site with an iPad or conduct on-site audits or financial analysis on desired energy conservation measures, please join Project Rosenfeld.
Request participation in the project.
An update, made available on Friday to project members, includes:
- Tighter integration of the ECMFin functionality
- Addition of "Target glazing %" for those who do not want to draw windows
- Addition of conceptual construction types, systems, and occupancy
- Ability to show measurements during 3D phototracing
- Streamlined UI with some steps merged for faster time to simulation
Once on the project, we are eager to hear of your successes, failures, criticisms, and suggestions. You can reach us at [email protected] or the discussion forum dedicated to the project. The project may be small in number, but its aspirations are big.
Project sizing is alive in the lab.
