My wife has decorated our home for Christmas. This includes an Elf on the Shelf. As the lore goes, the Elf magically moves about, acting as Santa Claus' scout, to determine who has been naughty and who has been nice. Well the other day he snuck into my laptop bag, and once I got to work, escaped into the Autodesk Gallery at One Market. There is an all points bulletin out for his capture.
After scaling and descending the Shanghai Tower, he attempted to escape by vehicle. What he did not immediately realize was that this was not possible because the exhibit was only a driving simulator.
He was then spotted traveling at high speed is a fancy sports car:
After being spotted in the Ferrari, he abandoned it on the side of the road and hijacked another vehicle:
Boy is he going to be disappointed when he realizes the Biome car is just a model.
Where will he turn up next?
To perhaps help us catch this wanted elf, you can learn more about the Virtual Driving Simulator, Ferrari World Design Contest, and Mercedes Benz Biome Car.
The Gallery at One Market in San Francisco is open to the public on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm, and admission is free. Visit us.
Hot pursuit is alive in the lab.
