"Don't you ever listen?
Don't you ever learn?
The hand may find you
It's time to take a turn"
— Todd Rundgren, "Don't You Ever Learn?," Todd, 1974.
Sometimes Autodesk Labs projects allow you to download a new program and try it. Sometimes you download a new plug-in for one of our design applications. Sometimes there is no download at all — you just try a cloud-based service instead. There are many types of technology previews. Here's a new one: no new download, no new web service. Instead we are using Autodesk Labs as a way to collect feedback on our new learning center called Design Academy. We want to listen about how you learn.
The Autodesk Design Academy is a content management system for publishing learning content related to Autodesk products. Its content will be tightly integrated with Autodesk Knowledge Network and Autodesk University content.
The goal of the Autodesk Labs project is to work closely with a community of students, educators, and professionals to help Autodesk create amazing online learning experiences that empower our customers to improve their design work with Autodesk software.
We look forward to your participation in helping us hone the way people learn to use our applications and cloud-based services. Project participants will get to hear what we're thinking in advance of official announcements, so we can use your feedback before we put our plans into place for the general public. Please help us hone the learning process.
Listening and learning are alive in the lab.
