A Successful AU South Africa is one of Many AU Events Around the World

Autodesk University is our conference where customers can take classes on how to use our software. It started out in the United States but has grown to be an international event.

In addition to these upcoming events, there was AU^x Johannesburg, South Africa held on September 4. This was actually the third AU^x Johannesburg that took place at The Forum at The Campus, Bryanston, Johannesburg. The event featured several Autodesk thought leaders and presenters including Jon Pittman, Vice President Corporate Strategy. Following a 22 hour "hop" from San Francisco to Johannesburg, Jon delivered the Keynote Presentation to architects, engineers, Autodesk channel partners and other design professionals about the Future of How Things Are Made.

The event statistics included:

• 369 attendees including 300 customers
• 20 Track Sessions
• 16 Track Sessions Speakers
• HP Sponsored 25 laptops for the hands on lab sessions and an HP Slate 7 Tablet for a competition prize
