It's no surprise that Autodesk Labs is located on the Autodesk Feedback Community. Autodesk Labs is all about feedback. Sometimes people ask me what kind of feedback do we want. They have downloaded a utility or have tried one of our software as a service technologies and want to contact us, but they don't know what to say. Trust me that we appreciate feedback of any kind. We take the good with the bad. Here are some examples of the good, the bad, and the truly constructive:

I do have to say the photogrammetry technique of Project Memento opens great new possibilities in our business.

Thanks for the software. It worked perfectly and the 3D print came out well.

Project Carbon sounds great. Too bad I can't try this because it's on Apple. I would love to try this on Android. :-)

Project Dalton: Properties --> Fluid: It does not remember what I set it to last time. Each time it must be set.

That's such a shame that Model Builder for InfraWorks 360 is only available in the United States. We have a huge use and need for this module but without the data to back it up, we will struggle to create a business case to use it based on US data. We currently have InfraWorks 2015 so tour migration would be quite big for us to transit from InfraWorks 2015 to InfraWorks 360.

Just a little comment for Project Solon — Dashboards for Revit. I have been working with Area boundary lines and schedules generated from a site plan of model lines. Going through tweaks and tuning on Area plan, I have to work twice. Once with the model lines and once with boundary lines. Is there a way to link / pin the model lines to the boundary lines so that modifications to one moves the other? Currently, it's like working on two separate files.

With regard to Item Number Resequencing for AutoCAD Electrical: Another key point is the MFG's to process list. A GREAT option would be to have it list the MFG's as in existing dialog and then process them in that order. The reason? Many OEM's but specific parts from specific manufacturers, or most of their parts from one, and then a few from another. They will actually make the BOM, cut pieces out, and process them differently. Allowing a manual sort keeps the numeric ordering nice while keeping MFG's grouped in a USER defined order.

Using Project Octopus for Robot Structural Analysis, I tried to insert Plastic modulus values (Zy) of section. and it seems it is not working properly. It gives a small value which is not corresponding to the correct value of the sections. This is an example of what I mean:
=RSA_SECTION_DATA("ZY","HSSQ 4x4x0.1875") -
I found a bug with Project Sundance during import structural model to Sundance. I tried to import a part with quadratic hexahedral elements and Sundance did not see part in *.inp file. During import linear hexahedral elements, everything was OK.

The 2D to 3D tool for Inventor was OK 2 years ago and basically works the same now. However, something that picked up hidden line and converted them to a construction line on a particular view would be helpful. Automatically adding center points the center of a hole so that one can immediately use the hole command would be great also. Essentially it automatically puts you on the 3 faces for doing an extrude, then intersect, but a few more features would be great.

So if you have something to say, we're all ears. Each technology preview has both an associated email address and discussion forum. Feel free to use them. Thanks to everyone who provides feedback.
Looking for customer comments is alive in the lab.
