Updated Project Chronicle Now Available

Project Chronicle consists of a recording utility to capture recordings, and a website that displays the recordings as Chronicles, interactive video tutorials. In essence, Project Chronicle allows software experts to showcase their expertise and allows other users to view and learn from their real-world expert examples. Yesterday the Autodesk Research team provided me with an update that I posted to the Autodesk Labs site. This update includes:

• Custom recording region, monitor recording, and screenshots

• Specifying the language of the recording

• Automatic publishing and sharing from the Recorder application

• Option of key input capture

• Option to disable mouse visualization in the video

• Technology preview extended to June 1, 2014
