Cloud Sync for AutoCAD Architecture/MEP The Cloud Sync for AutoCAD Architecture/MEP plug-in allows users to manage drawing access on local computer networks and also across cloud storage services (e.g., Autodesk 360, Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive). With this functionality and depending on how a user has elected to set up a given cloud storage service, automatic access to the Internet and automatic sync of a file between a local machine (or network) and the cloud storage service is possible. |

Daylighting Analysis for Revit The Revit 2014 Daylighting Analysis plug-in uses the Autodesk 360 Rendering cloud service to perform very fast and physically accurate daylighting analyses from within Revit. In this first release of the plug-in, we have enabled it to provide LEED IEQc8.1 2009 results for most models in less than 15 minutes once the analysis is started. |

Design Checker for Inventor Live checking in Design Checker provides instant feedback on the adherence to company and customer standards, and ensures a high level of quality for the entire design process. Design Checker can be configured to define not only what type of features are checked, but also the standards that dictate if a check passes or fails. |

DesignScript exploratory programming DesignScript is a unique language. It is intended to help designers build and analyze complex geometric models that would be difficult to model with interactive techniques. DesignScript introduces the distinction between a generative description of a design (as a script) and the resulting generated model. The designer no longer directly models the resulting design: instead he develops a script whose execution generates the model. |

FABmep Import for Revit MEP The FABmep Import for Revit MEP enables users to import Autodesk Fabrication FABmep models into Autodesk Revit MEP, providing round-tripping capabilities for as-built/record drawing purposes. For users with Autodesk Fabrication software, Autodesk Revit allows them to export FABmep models. They can then open, modify, and save the models using Autodesk Fabrication. This technology preview attempts to answer the question "What if you could import the modified models back into Revit?" |

Inventor Simplification parts/assemblies Whether you need to simplify a fully detailed model to import into Revit or remove intellectual property (IP), Inventor Simplification can help. Inventor Simplification is intended to be very interactive with greater flexibility than current tools. Visual selection of components to keep/remove. Replace fully detailed components with resizable primitive shapes. Fill holes with greater control. |

Leap Motion Plug-in for MotionBuilder MotionBuilder 3D character animation software for virtual production enables you to more efficiently manipulate and refine data with greater reliability. Capture, edit, and play back complex character animation in a highly responsive, interactive environment, and work with a display optimized for both animators and directors. The Leap Motion Controller senses your hands and fingers and follows their every move and lets them move in all that wide-open space between you and your computer. OCTO is collecting feedback on manipulating 3D characters in MotionBuilder using a Leap Motion device. |

Mesh Enabler for Inventor The Inventor Mesh Enabler enables Inventor users to work with imported Mesh data. The Mesh Enabler for 2013 adds the ability to post process the imported mesh data to convert the mesh features to Inventor Base features. The resulting Base features can then be used for further operations including drawings and measurements. |

Project Chronicle capture/share/learn Project Chronicle consists of a recording utility to capture recordings, and a website that displays the recordings as Chronicles, interactive video tutorials. In essence, Project Chronicle will allow software experts to showcase their expertise and will allow other users to view and learn from their real-world expert examples. |

Project Dalton pipe flow simulation Project Dalton is designed to be an easy to use tool to help designers understand and tune the performance of complex piping networks by helping them understand how systems will perform when subjected to different operating parameters and routing options. Dalton imports industry standard PCF file format to describe a piping system. Users are able to then set physical and operating parameters for the system and solve for a variety of results, including pressure, velocity, flow rate, mass flow rate, and Reynolds Number. |

Project Falcon wind tunnel simulation Project Falcon technology is extremely geometry tolerant and easy to use, enabling you to begin seeing and understanding air flow behavior within seconds of starting the application. Results update almost in real-time in response to changes in wind-direction and speed that you specify. Project Falcon uses a revolutionary automatic meshing technology that can handle flow around any geometry at any stage of design. This technology is coupled with a transient, incompressible fluid flow solver and LES turbulence model in a way that delivers quick results and requires very little setup for the user. |

Project Memento large mesh fixing Project Memento is a state of the art toolset that visualizes huge meshes from laser scans, photos, or any modeling application. It also automatically analyzes meshes for errors and allows users to easily fix them for digital use or fabrication. Mesh models created from reality capture data typically exceed hundreds of millions of polygons in size. With the limitations of available tools on the market today, users must create manual workarounds to finish their projects, such as splitting scenes into smaller meshes to fix topology or texture issues (holes, spikes, tunnels, particles, etc.). |

Project Miller 3D print preview Project Miller is a technology preview developed to improve results with 3D printing. Is my model geometry printable? What changes can be made to improve it? What will the printed part look like? Like the ultimate Print Preview, Miller enables you to inspect your model, visualize how it will print, and identify problems in advance. |

Project Pinocchio character creation Using a web browser and Project Pinocchio, you can create, customize, and download your very own rigged 3D characters from a catalog of over 100 body types, outfits, hairstyles, and physical attributes in a few simple steps. Once you create a character, you can use it in a variety of Autodesk modeling tools to create imagery and movies. |

Project Shapeshifter 3D design patterns Project Shapeshifter assists designers and in makers coping with the task of modeling complex 3D printable geometries in a simple way. Project Shapeshifter offers an alternative approach to generative design, avoiding scripting of any kind. Shapeshifter technology offers a simple slider based interface for shaping a 3D mesh object parametrically based on a selected topology. The 3D mesh object is automatically converted to a cellular shell where each cell can be populated with a selected component to form a 3D pattern. The populated mesh can be exported as .obj file for 3D printing. |

Project Tally life cycle analysis Tally, by KieranTimberlake and PE INTERNATIONAL, is a plug-in application for Revit that allows users to quantify the environmental impact of building materials for whole building analysis as well as comparative analyses of design options. While working on a Revit model, the user can define relationships between BIM elements and construction materials from the database. The result is Life Cycle Assessment on demand, and an important layer of decision-making information within the same time frame, pace, and environment that building designs are generated. Project Tally is a public beta where KieranTimberlake, PE INTERNATIONAL, and Autodesk are collecting feedback on the Tally technology from Autodesk customers. |

The Innovation Genome Project Inspired by how biologists were able to map the human genome, Autodesk Corporate Strategist, Bill O'Connor, was able to map innovation by studying the make-up of hundreds of innovations over mankind's history. Bill found that a simple set of seven questions were at the heart of many of these innovations, and that these questions could be applied to any project or idea to make it more innovative. |
