The Answer Is Outside

The Autodesk University conference is happening December 3-5 in Las Vegas. The theme for the keynote presentation is "The answer is outside." Why is that? To face business challenges today, many suggest that we look inside ourselves, and our companies, to make the changes and improvements we need. But inside is not where we need to be looking. We need to look outside.

So we should all be looking:

• ...outside the tools we've traditionally used...
• ...outside the people we've usually worked with...
• ...outside the work we've traditionally done...
• ...and outside the sources of insight we've relied upon.

How To Enter

At AU, Autodesk will be talking a lot about going outside, but that’s just talk. Many of you are already doing it. Got a story to share? We'd love to see it. We’re looking for a great, compelling, funny, inspirational, profound, entertaining, visionary video that describes your point of view on the importance of going outside, or describes the way you have gone outside in some innovative and valuable way.

Upload your 45 second to 90 second video to YouTube or Vimeo, and send us the URL at [email protected]. The deadline for submissions is midnight Pacific time on November 30. The most compelling video will be shown on the main stage during Autodesk CEO Carl Bass' keynote address to a live audience of more than 7,000 people.

The Prize

In addition to seeing your name in lights as part of the keynote address, enjoy this BioLite Camp Stove for when not only are you thinking outside but you are outside. We'll also include a $450 gift card (actually nine $50 cards, as good as cash) to help you round out your set of camping supplies.

Terms and Conditions

The Contest is open only to natural persons who are at least eighteen (18) years old and are legal residents of the 50 United States and Canada (including the District of Columbia but excluding Puerto Rico and the Province of Quebec, Canada).
