It’s the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions, and it’s tailor-made for new technologies, technologies that are redefining what it means to be an artist. From modern-day Michaelangelos using 3D printing to tap into their own creativity to archaeologists preserving art for the ages with reality capture, we’ve only just begun to realize what’s possible.
