Sunand Bhattacharya is a Learning Strategist here at Autodesk. A few weeks ago Sunand attended a very interesting think tank meeting called FutureEd. It was organized by DMI (Design Management Institute). There were about 50 people participating in a session looking at curricula in response to the 21st century needs for strategic thinkers and innovators. The participants consisted of design and management people from across the country.
While in Chicago, Sunand connected with Larry Keeley from the Doblin Group. I know of the Doblin Group since my colleague, Senior Strategic Designer, Doug Look, has worked with the group in the past. Sunand is considering asking Larry Keeley to be a keynote speaker at AU's Education Summit. Larry has been very involved with Singularity University for which Autodesk is a major sponsor. It's a small world.
Lighting as an example of innovation
Since everyone in the world can't be at events like FutureEd, I thought I'd pose the question: What topics would you like to see covered in the Educational Keynote address at this year's Autodesk University? You can share your thoughts to [email protected].
AU planning is alive in the lab.
