A while back I tweeted a picture of a wall in our conference room that showed some of the work we were doing on the AU experience. Not related to Autodesk Labs, but as a member of the Corporate Strategy & Engagement team, I am part of one of several teams working to make this year's AU experience the best ever. We recognize that people can attend AU virtually, so we want to make sure that the in-person experience is its best.
Each year Autodesk sends about 1,000 employees to AU. Everyone works really hard, and by the end of the week, are totally exhausted. Even with the Herculean efforts that are exhibited, our AU team is encouraging employees to go the extra mile to have meaningful conversations with Autodesk customers. Based on input from other team members, I created my own infographic on the topic.
You can see why I am not in Corporate Communications. My infographic is way too long — too many words. Many despise my usage of stock visuals. The Corporate Communications team is working on something better. I am anxious to see what they come up with. I know it will inspire our employees to reach out not just when manning the booths and lounges or teaching classes (traditional) but all of the other opportunities in between (in addition to traditional).
