While at #AU2012 I met Autodesk Pre-Sales Engineer for Architecture, Emmanuel Di Giacomo, in person. He manages the French Autodesk “Village BIM” Blog and Revit Architecture Utopic City on Facebook. Emmanuel sent me a follow up article. Since I believe that there are a fair number of Autodesk Labs community members in French-speaking countries, I thought this might be of interest. |
The Ever Growing Revit Architecture Utopic City on Facebook
Discover the Revit Architecture Utopic City fully designed with Revit Architecture by Emmanuel Di Giacomo (BIM Solutions Expert – Architecture for Autodesk in France). Started 2 years ago, the idea of this project was to showcase the power of Revit Architecture. It’s having lots of success as I have more than 8,533 Fans all over the World. It’s a growing success since the Facebook page was started in early 2011.
Architect by training, Emmanuel has been with Autodesk for more than 10 years now. He’s currently Presales Engineer for AEC in France since last year and after 6 years as Revit Customer Success Engineer working for our AEC Division where he has been following up Revit’s Implementation at Key Architectural and Construction Companies in EMEA like Zaha Hadid Architects and other. He initially had the chance to start as Marketing Manager for AEC in 2002, having the honor to manage the launch of Revit Building (at that time) for France.
You can see the Complete set of more than 50 Revit Utopic Projects here: http://www.facebook.com/revitarchitectureutopiccity
Finally, you'll certainly have noticed one strange and original building recently used worldwide for the 2013 Press Launch and during OTC on the stage to demo Cloud Rendering. Well, Emmanuel redesigned Autodesk Office in Grenoble (France) to showcase what Revit’s BIM capabilities offer to our Customers. Thanks Emmanuel. I am happy to help spread the word. A toast to you!
French toast is alive in the lab.
