It's time for the third talk in our summer series of talks known as Project Vasari talk. This is your chance to get together with the Project Vasari team and hear directly from them. You can register in advance and participate live, or you can watch the videotape after the fact. This next talk is:
Session 16: Using Visual Programing to enhance conceptual design and analysis in Autodesk Project Vasari
Date: August 8, 2012
Time: 11:30 AM Eastern time
Content: In this episode, we will explore computational design workflows using Autodesk Project Vasari. Matt Jezyk, Senior Product Manager at Autodesk, will teach about the open-source Dynamo Visual Programming add-in and Python scripting which can be used to create advanced computational designs and automated feedback loops. We will explore workflows where changes made to the model cause changes in the simulation results, which then drive changes back into the model. We will investigate both out-of-the-box tools and add-ons currently under development for creating parametric building models that respond to environmental conditions through both automatic and semi-automatic feedback loops.
