"Every mile / I walk to you / I get chills / I get lost / Oohh"
"I Get Chills," Hunz, 2011.
When we started working with Project Photofly, we envisioned uses such as:
- building renovation
- rapid energy analysis
- add-on design
- historic preservation
- game development
We had never envisioned:
- rock music video special effects
Well lo and behold if we were short-sighted:
The band Hunz (Hans van Vliet, Phil Evans, Richie Young) used Project Photofly in the creation of a video for their new song "I Get Chills." Check out how the shadows from the draft-mesh Project Photofly geometry cast on real-world objects in the scene. The special effect at the very end is way cool.
This single is a follow up to their first album When Victims Fight. To me they sound like a modern version of The Fixx meets The Cure - and I mean that in a good way. I know the genre is listed as Electronic but the music is way more melodic than say Kraftwerk.
You can check them out for yourself:
- Watch the video: Vimeo or Autodesk YouTube Channel
- See how the video was made

I bought the single plus When Victims Fight. In addition I downloaded their second album, Thoughts that Move, for free. You too can get started making your own beautiful music (figuratively of course) with our free technology preview at:
