Here's something you'll want to know about rendering Revit files with Project Neon...
Project Neon is our technology preview of rendering AutoCAD and Revit files using the Autodesk cloud. Project Neon debuted over a year ago, and we are continuing to develop our web-based services to increase value to Subscribers. Actually it started on July 30, 2008 when we unveiled our web-based rendering approach for Project Showroom.
The Project Neon team updated the server side of our Revit web rendering service to address multiple issues reported by users during the first few days of the technology preview. Thanks for the feedback. This is exactly why we conduct technology previews. The major issue addressed was the authorization failure when submitting new rendering jobs. The changes were on the server side, so you don't need to download and install a new version of the Revit plug-in that uploads to the Autodesk cloud. You can find out more about Project Neon on the Autodesk Labs web site:
Keep up the good work and keep that feedback coming into the GetSatisfaction forum.
Fixin' what's broken is alive in the lab.
Update:
P.S. We are aware of an issue with Project Neon and Revit web update 1. We are investigating the issue.
