Yesterday we released an update to the Clipboard Manager for AutoCAD. Today in keeping with our long-standing tradition (OK it's only been 6 months), we have released the ADN plugin of the month for February:
From its read me: "The Screenshot plugin can be used with Inventor [2010 (32-bit and 64-bit)] to simplify the process of capturing images of parts of documents, or the entire document or application windows. It optionally allows you to remap the background to white and the foreground to black, and convert the entire image to grayscale, as well as sending the capture image directly to a printer."
The plugin was written by Xiaodong Liang based on a plugin for AutoCAD developed by Kean Walmsley. I guess the Inventor developers had clipboard envy. Alex Fielder and Fenton Webb provided helpful input during the design and testing of this plugin. So please try this out, look at the source code, and see how to program your own add-ons for Autodesk Inventor. Let us know your thoughts at [email protected].
Demonstrating that plugins are not just for AutoCAD is alive in the lab.
