I can't get this plugin to work with the Classic UI. When I go to addins under tools, it shows the load at startup box is ticked, but the addin shows itself as unloaded in the list. As soon as I tick the loaded/unloaded box and click OK to close, it doesn’t do anything. Going back into the dialog again shows that it is unloaded even though I had just loaded it. Restarting Inventor doesn't change anything. So I turned on the Ribbon UI and immediately it shows up as loaded. I can see the button on the ribbon. Since I think that the ribbon largely creates more clicks, I still use the Classic UI, but I would love to use this addin with the Classic UI.

In response we have posted a new and improved version of this programming sample. You can examine the source code to see that the Classic Inventor UI is now supported. This version also supports Inventor 2008 and 2009 in addition to Inventor 2010 that was previously supported.
