Google Translate Added to It's Alive in the Lab

Today I saw on the Inside the Factory blog that Erik Egbertson had added the Google translate capability to his site. So I did the same. I located the translator UI element right under the map that shows the locations of the last 100 visitors to the site. Based on the geographic variety, I felt these topics are related.

I hope this makes it easy for non-English speakers to learn about technology previews that Autodesk Labs has to offer. Any visitor can select one of the supported languages from the pull-down and see the blog almost immediately translated. Unlike what happens with the Babelfish translator, I like how the blog page appears to stay in place and only the text changes. To get back to English, simply click on the browser refresh button.
