As the May 1st, 2009 expiration of Inventor LT 2009 licenses approaches, we would like to give you advanced notice of our upcoming plans for Inventor LT.
What's Next for Inventor LT?
Autodesk is committed to making it affordable and practical for you to continue using Inventor LT for your 3D part design needs.
On March 24th 2009, Inventor LT will "graduate" from a free* Technology Preview product and will no longer be available from Autodesk Labs.
If you wish to continue using Inventor LT after your Inventor LT 2009 license expires on May 1, 2009, a commercially available and officially supported product will be available for license by purchase only in two ways, depending on your country of residence:
-
AutoCAD® Inventor LT™ Suite: If you live in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the United States, you will be able to purchase Inventor LT 2010 as part of the recently announced AutoCAD Inventor LT Suite 2010, which includes all the exciting new features of Inventor LT 2010 as well as the latest version of AutoCAD LT software for 2D drafting and detailing - all at a remarkable value.
-
Autodesk Inventor LT 2010: If you live in Canada or the United States, you will also have the option of purchasing Inventor LT 2010 as a standalone product.
Special offers for Inventor LT users
Since May 2007, the feedback of over 50,000 users of the Technology Preview has helped shape the future of Autodesk Inventor LT. To thank you for your valuable feedback, we will be announcing special purchase offers available only to users that participated in the Technology Preview.
If you have not yet used Inventor LT, make sure you visit Autodesk Labs before March 24th and follow the download process to obtain the Inventor LT 2009 software and/or request your serial number for use during activation.

More details such as pricing will be available in the coming weeks, prior to the May 1 license expiration date. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email us at [email protected], or stay tuned to Autodesk Labs for more information.
