Due to overwhelmingly high initial customer demand for the Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview, we are currently focusing on the high volume of customer feedback we have received so far and have decided to make the Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview available for download only in the United States and Canada at this time. A diversity of feedback from around the world is important to us, and we hope to extend availability to more countries in the future.
After providing their email addresses for receiving their serial numbers, people from the United States and Canada encounter the following download dialog. This dialog provides your only chance to download the Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview. The email that you receive only contains your serial number. There are two items of interest here - each highlighted in red.
- Internet Explorer settings may require that you allow the download. You would want to click in the title bar of this dialog.
- There is an Autodesk download manager that can be used to help download the installer. This is a viable option that actually reduces download time for many people.
The opportunity to download the installer is when you reach the download dialog. Sometimes people do not see it because Internet Explorer requires a click to allow it. For others, the dialog may be behind the main browser window. In either case, a link to the installer is not part of the email that you receive. The email contains your serial number which you will need for activation. After you have downloaded and executed the install, you then use the serial number you received in the mail. Downloading the Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview is definitely alive in the lab.
