I recently received this report from our team at our Toronto Technology Center.
At the Autodesk Tech Centers, we collaborate with industry, academic, and entrepreneurial communities to validate and test ideas about the future, inform our product and business strategy, and make stories and offer experiences that inspire our community.
The AI Lab Human + AI = Future of Design + Make collaboration between the Toronto Tech Center and Autodesk Research was the inaugural launch of Autodesk Research’s newly formed AI Lab. The March 20 event showcased numerous exciting projects in research and provided members of our innovation community the chance to hear from Mike Haley, Senior Director of Machine Intelligence at Autodesk. It was a sold-out engagement featuring expert speakers from Autodesk, ModiFace (an AR technology company which recently acquired by cosmetics giant L’Oreal) and Vector Institute, one of Canada’s most advanced AI research think tanks.
If you missed Autodesk's Tatjana Dzambazova's report of the event, check it out:
To continue our AI streak, Toronto also hosted events from the Vector Institute, Brookfield Institute, and Design Strategists.
AI is alive in the lab.
