When I attended an all-boys Catholic high school in New Orleans, our football team played its games in a stadium in City Park. That pretty much was my exposure to the park. Recently my wife and I visited New Orleans while she was on spring break from her 3rd-grade teaching job. My sister took us to the sculpture garden in the park before lunching with our brand spanking new grand nephews.
I was impressed with the variety of sculptures in the garden.
Despite being impressed by the variety, in the same way that I complain about exhibits at all museums of modern art, quite frankly, I think many Autodesk employees could create some of these sculptures at our Pier 9 office. My daughter claims "I just don't get it." On the other hand, some were quite impressive. I'll leave it to the reader to guess which is which.
Swinging statues are alive in the lab.
