In a previous blog post:
I covered how we have 6 interns are spending the summer with us. Despite having different backgrounds and being from 6 different schools, they are working together with Fusion 360 to define easier to use workflows.
Just prior to our 4th of July holiday, they completed their first projects.
Here's what they did.
Sarah Angle and Philippe Videau imagined, designed, and created a tricycle that can be 3D printed as one piece — no assembly required.
Becky Abramowitz and Brittany Presten imagined, designed, and created a candy dispenser.
Maya Kremien and Steven Helminen imagined, designed, and created a foldable skateboard.
These were just initial test projects to learn Fusion 360 and get acquainted with fabrication at our Pier 9 office. They are now ready to take on the next challenge. Their internships finish at the end of August.
Design with fabrication is alive in the lab.
