Sualp Ozel Video: Project Scout and Feature Recognition Tool

Design, Lifecycle, and Simulation Product Manager, Sualp Ozel, created this video that demonstrates how two free technology previews available on Autodesk Labs, Feature Recognition for Inventor and Project Scout, can be used together.

Feature Recognition for Inventor converts neutral 3D CAD models, such as STEP, SAT, or IGES solids, into full-featured Autodesk Inventor® models.

The technology preview of Project Scout is compatible with Autodesk Simulation Multiphysics and Autodesk Simulation Mechanical and includes additional simulation capabilities: Parametric design studies, Drop Test Wizard, and a New AMG Solver (AMG-MF).

Sualp imports a STEP file, recognizes two holes as features, and analyzes the effects of various hole sizes in the design. The video is available in two places:
