Since people were reluctant to base their businesses on “someone’s science project,” then we made a production version of this web service:

So hang on to your hat, because in the tradition of easy collaboration, we are happy to announce:

Project QuickShare

Project QuickShare lets you navigate and view multi-sheet 2D and 3D design files, examine properties, hide layers, or review mark-up. As the name suggests, the emphasis is on quick. No software download required. No account required. Fast viewing of 2D and 3D design files right within the browser. Just like with its Freewheel predecessors, when you want to showcase a design on your own website, Project QuickShare gives you that ability. Upload your design and use the embed tag to place the design and viewer anywhere.

As this is our newest technology preview, it leverages the capabilities of modern browsers. As such, to try Project QuickShare, you need one of the following:

• Firefox 4.0 and Higher
• Google Chrome
• Internet Explorer 9 and Higher
• Safari 5 and Higher
