Although it's only been a short while since our last Project Photofly update, we released another update yesterday. Recall that Project Photofly is a technology preview of our service for creating 3D scenes from photographs. The Photo Scene Editor is an application that you use on your computer to upload the photographs and work with the photo scenes returned by the service.

Yesterday's update features:
-
New design for manual stitching of photographs that were not automatically stitched by the service.
-
Automatic matching of manually added points.
-
User interface improvements for first time users based on your feedback to the proposed UI by Mason Foster.
-
Improved storage processing for data shared among servers.
-
Ability to export to FBX (in addition to export DWG).
-
Ability to export the collection of points as a point cloud object in the DWG.
This update should be helpful to those entering our contest.
Technology preview evolution is alive in the lab.
