I can't get this plugin to work with the Classic UI. When I go to addins under tools, it shows the load at startup box is ticked, but the addin shows itself as unloaded in the list. As soon as I tick the loaded/unloaded box and click OK to close, it doesn’t do anything. Going back into the dialog again shows that it is unloaded even though I had just loaded it. Restarting Inventor doesn't change anything. So I turned on the Ribbon UI and immediately it shows up as loaded. I can see the button on the ribbon. Since I think that the ribbon largely creates more clicks, I still use the Classic UI, but I would love to use this addin with the Classic UI.
In response we have posted a new and improved version of this programming sample. You can examine the source code to see that the Classic Inventor UI is now supported. This version also supports Inventor 2008 and 2009 in addition to Inventor 2010 that was previously supported.
And while we're responding to Scott's question, here are some fun factssource about New Zealand:
- For each person who lives there, New Zealand produces 100 kg of butter and 65 kg of cheese each year.
- At 41.2o South, Wellington is the southernmost capital city on Earth.
- New Zealand generates about 10% of its electricity geothermally from volcanic heat and 55% is generated from water flowing through hydroelectric dams. By 2025, the plan is that 90% of New Zealand's electricity will come from renewable sources.
- The world's first commercial bungee jump took place in Queenstown, NZ in 1988.
Responding to customer feedback is alive in the lab.
