The plot thickens. Last week I highlighted two postings on Scott Adams', the creator of Dilbert, blog where he is designing the ultimate house.
When he uses the word ultimate, he is going for utility not ostentatiousness. In last week's blog posting I showed you two screen shots of what Software Developer, David Falck, and I diagrammed in Project Draw. We modeled our diagram after Scott Adams' sketches:
No sooner had we done that when Scott Adams realized that going up and down stairs might be a chore. Go figure! So he changed his design to be a one story.
Ultimate Single Story House - update
Isn't that always the way? He experienced something before it was real and could change his mind. So I redid our diagrams into a one-story:
Using software, without installing anything extra, to quickly sketch 2D floor plans is still alive in the lab. Last week I asked: Does anyone have any idea as to what this would look like in 3D? Care to mock something up and load it into Project Freewheel? The offer still stands. Let us know if you do: labs.freewheel@autodesk.com.
