Autodesk Labs Marketing Manager, Amanda Collins, spent a lot of her time at our download station at Autodesk University. Autodesk University attendees wanted to get their hands on cool tools and technologies. Amanda noted that hundreds of attendees (~500) asked for the Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview, and instructors were recommending the Frame Generator Customization Tool and Content Search so attendees actually asked for those by name! Others came by to rave about the Command Complete Bonus Tool and Project Freewheel. Exhibit visitors were impressed that we showed Project Freewheel with ShareNow on a Mac!
Senior Strategic Designer, Doug Look, had created a screen saver for the download station. Alas I don't think anyone ever got to see his beautiful creations, because the station was always in use. Doug had some fantastic looking images:
Doug also has these images available in a Microsoft Office 2007 PowerPoint presentation. Perhaps you would find this useful for your own presentations involving Autodesk technology:
Download AUScreensaver.pptx (4927.7K)
Note: This file is a PPTX file which is the new Microsoft Office PowerPoint format. This is a form of zipped XML. As it is a relatively new format, the TypePad server which hosts this blog is downloading it as a zip file. My guess is that the MIME type for PPTX has not been added to the TypePad server. Please rename the file from .zip to .pptx after downloading.
Here it is in the old PowerPoint format:
The cool tools and technologies are available for download from the Autodesk Labs site. Sharing tools and technologies to get early user feedback is alive in the lab.
