Project Freewheel: Making a first Impression

The Project Freewheel 1.0.1 update includes the ability to render your 2D designs with a limited version of the same technology that enables Autodesk Impression. Though the application version of Autodesk Impression allows for many rendering choices, the Project Freewheel Impression menu has 8 options to choose from.

Menu7

  1. Standard (The design is rendered as published.)

  2. Wiggle Marker

  3. Extra Wiggle Marker - Hey, if you're going to wiggle, why not go all out?

  4. Brown Pencil - This is my personal favorite.

  5. Hard Pencil - This is a little light for my taste. Now I know why my first grade teacher required No. 2 pencils.

  6. Soft Pencil - IMHO, this is a better pencil.

  7. Wiggle Pen

  8. Extra Wiggle Pen

By the way, the Impression menu pull down has a transparent background like the other Project Freewheel menus; however, it has more text than the others. Some people like it. Some people find it hard to read. Please tell us what you think: labs.freewheel@autodesk.com. So load up your 2D designs and add some flair to your renderings. If you've ever seen the movie Office Space, you'll know that a certain amount of flair is required.

Rendering designs in an artistic fashion without the need to install additional software is alive in the lab.
