3D/2D ShareNow Add-in for AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit: One Click Sharing

The 3D/2D ShareNow Add-in for AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit provides you with the ability to see your design in Project Freewheel with the click of a button. The utility is available for AutoCAD 2008, Inventor 2008, and Revit 2008.

When installed for AutoCAD, ShareNow and ShareDSD commands become available. ShareNow shares the current drawing (must be saved) and ShareDSD shares a set of drawings as defined by an AutoCAD Data Source Dictionary (DSD) file. You can create a DSD file to specify designs for an entire project. If for some reason the installer cannot update your acad.CUI file, the icons will not appear but the commands will still be available from the command line. Acad_menu
When installed for Inventor 2008, two new items appear on a ShareNow item the File menu. As depicted, one publishes the current document to Project Freewheel and the other publishes all loaded documents to Project Freewheel. Inventor_menu
When installed into Revit, two new items appear. One shares the current view and the other shares all views. Revit_menu

Selecting one of these items from the user interface publishes your design as DWF file, uploads it to Project Freewheel, and invokes the browser so you can see it. You can then let others see it by starting a real-time collaboration sharing session.

So whether you are using AutoCAD, Inventor, or Revit, it is easy to ShareNow. Making designs easy to share with others is alive in the lab.
