Request for Input: DWFx or DWF?

Allister Senior Product Manager at Autodesk, Allister Lundberg, wants to know:

Question: If you had to choose between these two options, which would you choose?

  1. A DWFx file that can be ubiquitously viewed on Microsoft Vista but is 80% larger in file size. Viewing ubiquitously means that anyone with Microsoft Vista can view the file without having to install Autodesk Design Review or any other additional software.

    OR

  2. A traditional DWF file (smaller file size but requires Autodesk Design Review or another application in to view the contents.)

Allister is pondering the question of publishing options from Autodesk design applications. To help make decisions like this, collecting customer input is alive in the lab. You can post your thoughts as comments to this blog posting or email allister.lundberg@autodesk.com.
